While Hidetaka Miyazaki never said no outright, he made it clear that a King's Field revival isn't coming anytime soon. Unfortunately, his answer will displease fans of the series. During a recent interview with 4Gamer, FromSoftware President Hidetaka Miyazaki was asked if FromSoftware would ever consider reviving the King's Field franchise. That being said, the series hasn't seen a new release since King's Field: Additional II for PSP in 2006. During this pre- Souls time, one of the Japanese developer's most notable series was King's Field.
While Demon's Souls and Dark Soulsare the titles that truly put FromSoftware on the map, the developer was around for over two decades before that.
